Is ZGA really free?
YES. Currently, ZGA does not charge any amount for any of our programs. However, we encourage participants and parents to donate or participate in fundraising!
I’ve registered my child, what do I do next?
If you have registered your child, there is nothing more for you to do! Participants can begin immediately after they have registered. Come out to the next practice and meet the ZGA staff and coaches!
Is ZGA accepting new participants?
ZGA accepts new participants all year! As long as the participant is registered for the current session, he or she is welcome to join the program no matter what time of the year it is.
What does a participant need in order to play?
ZGA provides rackets, balls, and all other supplies. Each participant is required to wear a hat and non-marking tennis shoes to be allowed on the court.
What are the Advanced and Beginner’s divisions? How do I get my child into the Advanced division?
Here at ZGA, we offer a Beginners and Advanced divisions so that we can serve tennis players of all skill levels. This ensures that every participant is given the instruction that they need to succeed. Participants must be invited to the Advanced division by a coach. Coaches make these selections based on skill, attitude, and attendance.
Where is practice held?
Practice is held at MacGregor Park at the Homer Ford Tennis center (5225 Calhoun Road, Houston, TX 77021)
